Farm Credit Services Helps Erie County 4-H Camp

Dale Lybarger, Erie County 4-H Camp Director was pictured with Brittany Nemeth of Farm Credit Services (FCS) in a recent newsarticle about the generous grant awarded to Erie County 4-H Camp. Brittany was able to secure a grant for $9,000 from the FCS corporate office and $2,000 from the local Oberlin office to help with renovations of the camp's recreation hall.

The grant matched a donation from The Andersons of Maumee, Ohio. The Andersons funding will improve ventilation and exhaust while the money from the FCS grant will provide new siding. All labor will be provided by volunteers.

Each summer appoximately 2,700 youth enjoy traditional camping activites as well as social and educational activities. Erie County 4-H Camp has been creating lifelong memories in children for 66 years!
