About 4-H
4-H is a non-formal educational, youth development program. Youth are involved in hands-on experiential learning that allows learning by doing. All 4-H programs focus on active involvement and quality experiences which stimulate lifelong learning of values and skills. 4-H is easily recognized by the four-leaf clover emblem.

2010 Erie County 4-H Camp Dates Set!
Erie County 4-H Camp Dates for 2010 will be June 14th-17th! More details will be posted later. We are in need of creative, fun, nurturing and team-oriented adult volunteer camp counselors. Training is required and begins in February. If you are interested, please contact the Extension Office at 419-627-7631.

Adult and youth volunteers were recognized at the annual Volunteer Banquet on November 2nd at EHOVE. Deb Leathem and Leo Kaufman each received a Meritorious Service Award for thier continued dedication to the Erie County 4-H program. Melissa Graham received the Friends of 4-H Award for her unyielding dedication to finding donors and awards for the 4-H youth who participate in the Erie County Fair.
