Family & Consumer Sciences Educators focus on building Healthy People, Healthy Finances, and Healthy Relationships. We provide accessible and reliable research-based information to help people help themselves. Over 500 Erie County residents attended programs in 2008 dealing with the importance of the diet in relation to heart disease. Food Safety Hotline
Thanks to a new partnership between The Kroger Co. and the Center for Innovative Food Technology (CIFT) consumers with food safety questions can call 1-800-752-2751. Ohio State University Extension's Food Safety Hotline is available between 9am - 5pm Monday through Friday.
