We provide accessible and reliable research-based information to help people help themselves. Over 500 Erie County residents attended programs in 2008 dealing with the importance of the diet in relation to heart disease. Thanks to a new partnership between The Kroger Co. and the Center for Innovative Food Technology (CIFT) consumers with food safety questions can call 1-800-752-2751. Ohio State University Extension's Food Safety Hotline is available between 9am - 5pm Monday through Friday.
