New volunteers must complete the steps listed below. Please start with the volunteer application. The rest of the steps can be done in any order, though you'll want to get your BCI done as quickly as possible, as results can take several weeks to come in. Please take the BCI form with you when getting your fingerprints done. 

All potential volunteers must complete these steps:

1. Complete a volunteer application HERE (a new page will open where you will complete the application online)
2. Submit and successfully pass a criminal history fingerprint background check (BCI)
   • Please take this FORM with you when you get your BCI done, and return it with your receipt after your BCI is performed.
3. Complete an interview with the 4-H Educator. It is the responsibility of the potential volunteer to schedule the interview.
4. Attend new volunteer training & orientation - once we receive your application, you will be emailed the dates for training and you must sign up for one of the dates listed. 
5. Complete other required paperwork and training if necessary for the volunteer position you wish to hold.
