Erie County 4-H Scholarship - due April 1st

This scholarship, sponsored by the Erie County 4-H Committee, is for eligible members who have not previously been awarded an Erie County 4-H Scholarship. Must meet deadline and presence at interview is required. 

  • Interviews will be held Sunday, April 14th at 5pm at the Senior Fairboard Office.

Erie County Homemakers Scholarship - due April 1st
This scholarship recipient is chosen from the 4-H Scholarship applicants. Therefore, to apply for this scholarship, please use the 4-H Scholarship Application and follow those guidelines when applying. Eligible members are high school seniors who have taken FCS projects and/or who plan to major in an FCS related field. Must meet deadline and presence at interview required. The scholarship is sponsored by the Erie County Homemakers Council.

  • Interviews will be held Sunday, April 14th at 5pm at the Senior Fairboard Office.

Erie County CARTEENS Scholarship - not applicabale for 2024

Applicant must be at least a high school senior. Previous recipients of the Erie County CARTEENS scholarships are not eligible to reapply. Must meet deadline and presence at interview is required to receive this scholarship.

Erie County Master Gardener Scholarship - Due April 15  This link will take you to the Erie County Master Gardener scholarship application. The Master Gardener scholarship, sponsored by the Erie County Master Gardeners, is for applicants pursuing a degree in plant science, such as agriculture, agronomy, botany, horticulture, forestry, environmental studies, landscaping or closely related field. You do NOT need to be a 4-H member to apply. 

Farm Bureau Scholarship - Most applications are due by March 31, 2024

Roger Stang Memorial Scholarship - clicking on name of scholarship will take you to application

Roger Stang lived a life of integrity and a love of the land.  Roger enjoyed his career as an agronomist and after he clocked out for the day you could find him either in the tractor working on the family farm or spending time with family and friends.  This scholarship is intended to help those striving to obtain a degree to work in the agriculture industry and it is our hope that you love what you do as much as Roger did.

Deadline: This application is due March 15, 2024, at 11:59 p.m.  This application is open to graduating high school seniors that are pursuing a 2 or 4-year degree in agriculture beginning in the fall quarter/semester of  2024.  You must be an Ohio resident of Huron, Erie or Lorain County.  

This year, two $500 scholarships will be awarded.  Scholarships will be awarded after completion of the first semester of school, and proof of enrollment.  Please fill in all fields accurately and completely to be considered for the scholarship.  All information submitted will be held in confidence and used solely for the purpose of scholarship administration.  If you have any questions, please email rogerstangmemorialscholarship@gmail.com
